Film Gallery

One of my greatest passions in life is film photography. It has brought new life into my photos and reinvigorated my love for photography. For me, there is nothing like the process of shooting film. I enjoy every part of it. I love having control over the type of film I’m putting into my camera. I love how each camera produces an image that is slightly different. Most of all, I love the intentionality. When shooting digitally, I often found myself firing off hundreds of shots and liking a couple of them. For me, removing that ability has allowed me to put more thought and care into my frames. I think about interesting frames that I could make while I drive around. That mentality has transferred to my filmmaking as well. By taking the time to create the best image possible, I enhance my visual storytelling, creating emotion through only what is in the frame.
